Profile

Mohammed Hashim Ali is an electronics engineer and hardware programmer who currently serves as Engineering Projects Manager in the Engineering Projects Department, a branch of the Technical Projects Department under Project Management at Ibn Mubarak Al-Shahrani Holding Group. His career combines deep technical grounding in electronic and embedded systems with the managerial ability to lead engineering project teams toward outputs that meet the Group's highest institutional standards.

He studies Electronics Engineering Technology (Communications) at Yanbu Industrial College, after completing secondary school at Taibah Secondary School for Gifted Students on the Engineering and Computer Science track. During that stage he built a strong foundation in C and C++ for embedded systems and gained practical experience with Arduino, ESP32, and Digispark microcontrollers, along with I2C, UART, SPI, and USB HID emulation.

Career at the Group

Mohammed joined the Group on April 19, 2026 as a hardware programmer in the Programming Department under Technology, and this appointment was only the first step before his promotion to his current role as Engineering Projects Manager. That transition reflects the Group's confidence in his ability to turn technical expertise into practical management, as he leads projects with an engineering mindset that understands technical work and its challenges from the inside.

In his current role he directly supervises the execution of engineering projects, whether academic or commercial, and is responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables from start to handover. He guides the relevant teams toward their best performance, applies clear monitoring and analysis methods to improve efficiency and workflow, continuously tracks key performance indicators to identify opportunities and risks before they escalate, and makes decisions that support sustainable results and execution quality in ongoing coordination with clients and the relevant teams.

Notable projects

2D radar system for detection and mapping

Mohammed designed and built a fully functional radar system using an Arduino Uno board, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, and a servo motor, and developed a Processing graphical interface to display object detection by distance and angle in real time in a style similar to professional radar screens. The project was selected for presentation to His Excellency Minister of Education Yusuf Al-Bunyan in 2024 as a model of distinguished student innovation in the Kingdom.

Automated command injection unit (Digispark HID)

Mohammed programmed a Digispark unit based on the ATtiny85 microcontroller to operate as an HID device capable of executing tasks automatically, optimizing the code to work within the limited memory resources of this hardware. He then ran comprehensive compatibility tests across different Windows environments to verify stable performance.
