Impact & Sustainability

Our responsibility in sustainability and ESG: written policies, Saudization, women's empowerment, and accountable internal governance.

The scope of our responsibility

As an administrative/holding company, we do not sell products or services directly to customers. All sales and services happen exclusively through our brands and subsidiaries. That defines our responsibility precisely: we do not create impact through retail operations, but through the policies our brands must follow, the jobs and training we provide, and the internal governance we enforce.

We define our responsibility by what we can actually control, not by what improves our image. On this page we present written commitments and enforceable policies, not marketing slogans or undocumented figures.

1. Corporate governance

We do not treat governance as a document on display. It is the mechanism through which we make decisions and review results.

Separation of roles and responsibilities

We clearly separate ownership, executive management, and operations within our brands and subsidiaries. We define authority at every level, and we assign every decision to a party fully accountable for its outcomes.

Regulatory compliance

We comply with applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Companies Law, Ministry of Commerce regulations, requirements of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and GOSI, zakat and tax obligations with ZATCA, and the Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations.

Transparency and credibility

We believe in clarity and credibility across our dealings and administrative operations. We do not publish any financial or statistical figure on our platforms without a documented source that can be verified, and we prefer not publishing over publishing inaccurately.

Integrity and conflicts of interest

We do not tolerate any form of corruption, bribery, or abuse of position. Anyone in an authority role must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest before a decision is made, and must recuse themselves from voting or signing when a conflict exists.

Data protection and privacy

We treat customer, employee, and partner data as a legal trust. We collect only the minimum data needed for the stated purpose, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and do not share it with any third party beyond what the law or contracted service delivery require.

Risk management and business continuity

We periodically review operational, technical, legal, and financial risks, and we keep contingency plans for critical operations. Protecting systems and data is an integral part of risk management, not an add-on, grounded in our cybersecurity experience.

Reporting and complaint channels

We provide published channels for reports and complaints. We review every serious report without disclosing the reporter's identity to anyone outside those responsible for the review, and we do not allow retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.

2. Social responsibility

Saudization of jobs

We treat Saudization as a strategic decision before it is a regulatory obligation, and we make national competence our first hiring choice, not a fallback when nothing else works. We achieve this through:

  • We hire only Saudis for every vacancy, including administrative, strategic, technical, financial, legal, and creative roles, both with us and with our brands and subsidiaries.
  • We invest in development rather than requiring long prior experience, and we open the door to those who have ability and readiness to learn even if prior experience is limited.
  • We fully comply with Saudization requirements and statutory ratios, and with employee rights to social insurance and a documented employment contract, whether via the Qiwa platform or an internal employment contract between the entity and the employee.
  • We build internal career paths where advancement is driven by competence and results, not seniority alone.

Women's empowerment

We do not treat women's empowerment as a line in a report. We reflect it in our organizational structure: among the most important roles, the Deputy CEO position and its supporting function are held by a woman. It is a genuine executive role entrusted with partnerships, strategic contracting, and administrative inquiries, not an honorary title.

In this pillar we commit to:

  • Equal opportunity in hiring, promotion, and pay for the same work, with no discrimination based on gender.
  • Remote and flexible work options that widen participation for women across the regions of the Kingdom.
  • Women's representation in executive decision-making roles, not only in support functions.
  • A workplace free of harassment and bullying, with a direct reporting channel independent of the usual managerial chain.

Capability building and training

We encourage continuous learning and do not settle for a fixed amount of it. We support technical and professional training for our people, and we provide cooperative training and graduate programs for students and new graduates in technology, digital marketing, and business services.

Supporting freelancers and entrepreneurs

Our founder and CEO began as a freelancer with no capital, relying on his experience and self-learning. That is why we treat freelancers as a real economic segment: we engage them under clear contracts, pay on time, and give them genuine growth opportunities with our brands and companies.

Our responsibility toward the market and the digital community

In marketing our brands we commit to honest descriptions and clear pricing. We do not use misleading or high-pressure practices, and we do not promote any product or service with claims we cannot substantiate.

3. Environmental sustainability

We start with a clear disclosure: at our core we run administrative and digital activity. We do not manufacture, transport, or operate emission-intensive activities. Our direct environmental impact is therefore limited, and we will not claim otherwise. Limited impact is not an exemption from responsibility, so we focus our commitment on what we actually control:

Paperless operations

We rely on electronic documentation, signing, and archiving in our administrative and contractual processes, and we limit printing to what regulators require.

Remote and flexible work

Our work model reduces daily commuting and the need for expanded office space, with a corresponding effect on energy use and commute-related emissions.

Technical infrastructure efficiency

We review hosting for our systems and our brands' and clients' websites against an efficiency standard, avoid unused compute resources, and prefer cloud providers that publish documented energy-efficiency commitments.

Device lifecycle

We extend the life of our devices through maintenance and updates instead of early replacement, and we dispose of end-of-life devices through approved e-waste recycling channels.

Sustainability in supplier selection

We include environmental and regulatory commitment among our supplier and partner selection criteria, alongside quality and price.

4. Our contribution to the Kingdom and the national economy

We are a fully Saudi entity. We operate, headquarter, and hire inside the Kingdom, and we form part of the non-oil economic base the Kingdom is expanding.

Digital economy and technology transformation

Through our brands we work in technology, digital marketing, and business services. We help move local enterprises onto more efficient digital tools and platforms, directly supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals for digital transformation and diversified income sources.

Supporting SMEs

Through our brands and companies we serve a wide segment of small and medium enterprises and emerging stores. We enable them technically, commercially, operationally, and administratively so they can compete and continue, contributing to this sector's share of GDP.

Local content

We prefer local suppliers and providers when they can meet requirements at the needed quality, and we keep added value inside the national economy as far as possible.

Our financial obligations to the state

We pay zakat, taxes, and social insurance contributions on their statutory due dates, and we treat that as part of our responsibility, not a burden on it.

Disciplined self-funded growth

We have grown our business on our own resources with no loans or external financing. We follow a conservative approach that reduces risk for our partners and employees, and keeps our continuity independent of financing cycles.

5. Our published commitments

We keep all our promises and track their delivery with high efficiency. We publish the commitments in this pillar in a form that allows us to be held accountable for them:

Commitment What we commit to in practice
Priority for national competence We prefer Saudi candidates for every vacancy and comply with statutory Saudization ratios
Equal opportunity We apply one set of hiring, promotion, and pay standards with no gender discrimination
Women in decision-making We keep women in executive roles, not support roles only
Digital transparency We do not publish any financial or statistical figure without a documented source
Data protection We collect the minimum, restrict access, and do not share beyond the legal scope
Integrity We do not tolerate corruption or undisclosed conflicts of interest
Contractual reliability We commit to timelines and dues with employees, freelancers, and suppliers as far as possible
Policy cascade We require all our brands and subsidiaries to follow the same standards

6. Cascading our standards to affiliated brands

We apply our governance, compliance, employment, and data-protection policies to all affiliated brands as mandatory standards, not guidance only. Continued administrative, technical, financial, and marketing support depends on each brand under our umbrella complying with them.

7. The limits of our disclosure

We state clearly what this page does not include:

We do not publish numerical KPIs at this stage

We will publish specific, measurable indicators once a documented measurement cycle is complete, and not before.

We do not currently hold external ESG certificates or ratings

And we will not use their terminology to imply otherwise.

We do not yet issue an annual sustainability report

We will issue one when enough data exists to justify a report.

We prefer to be measured by what we actually commit to, not by what we can merely phrase.

After impact and sustainability, we present the enforceable policies that bind us and our affiliated brands.
